What actually happens

How a session works

01

Pick a session

Find your next session on the Skool calendar.

02

Turn up on Meet

The Meet link is posted inside the group. A community volunteer opens the room, and seven to ten people work the domains together.

03

Defend your answer

Say which one you picked, and why. Being wrong here is cheaper than being wrong in the exam.

What a question looks like

Debated in the comments

Questions getpulled apart,not just answered

Questions are posted and challenged in the comments. People commit to a letter, then learn why the tempting answer is the technician’s, not the manager’s.

A question on the cissp.app diagnostic: a company is adopting a third-party AI service that will process customer support transcripts, and you must choose what to do first from four options.
The free diagnostic on cissp.app. Five questions, no signup.
A daily practice question posted in the community about moving a key management service into the same cloud provider that holds the encrypted data, followed by members answering in the comments and the poster explaining why the answer is loss of separation of duties.
A real one, posted in the group and picked apart by members in the comments.

Think like a manager: risk is accepted by the business, never by you.

The rooms belong to the people in them

The volunteers who open the rooms are members too: people who have taken the exam or have a date booked. They guide the discussion, but the room belongs to everyone in it.

Vinny Primiani started CISSPStudyGroup.com and builds cissp.app. The live sessions remain free and community led.

Members have left reviews on Trustpilot.

Before you join

The questions people ask first
Is it actually free?
Yes. The community and the live sessions cost nothing, with no trial that quietly ends. cissp.app is a separate paid product.
Do I have to speak or be on camera?
No. Plenty of people sit quietly and type in the chat instead.
When are the sessions?
Every day, usually 11 to 15 sessions a week across mornings and evenings. Check the Skool calendar for current times.
